In addition to his private practice, Dr. Powell serves as an instructor, teaching other doctors how to help patients with difficult neurologic presentations. Over the years his affiliation with the Carrick Institute has taken him to lecture in the US, Canada and Europe. Each year he instructs approximately 200 hours of postgraduate coursework in clinical neurology.  Lecturer – Clinical neurology and other topics to doctors of Chiropractic, educators, neurologic rehabilitation specialists, patient and advocate organizations and students ranging from elementary, middle school, high school, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.
