Experience A Spinal Health Care Class!  As part of your treatment program, we ask you to attend our Spinal Health Care Class.  We provide this class once a month to our patients. 

Dr. Shanahan will discuss the spine and how the day to day activities that you do can affect the overall health of your body.  And, provide helpful tips on things you can do throughout your day that will allow the treatments you receive at Powell Chiropractic to be even more effective.

As a new or even current patient, you may have questions as you begin and continue your treatment.  Our Spinal Health Care Class is a terrific opportunity to ask the doctor questions that may arise after you leave our office.

The class begins at 6 pm and lasts 30 minutes.  The class is held on the fourth Wednesday of every month.  Dinner and a beverage is also provided.  Call Jamie at 319-366-2518 to sign up to reserve your spot!

Congratulations to Dr. Powell!  The Trustees of the International College of Chiropractors have admitted Dr. Mike Powell as a FELLOW of the College.  This testimonial awards Dr. Powell for his valiant service in advancing the profession of Chiropractic.  Congratulations Dr. Powell! 

Nutrition or Product of the Month:  Kinesio Tape.  Whatever your favorite sport, injuries like strains, sprains and bruises are common.  Reduce pain and swelling while correcting muscle function with Kinesio tape.  During the month of September, you can schedule an appointment for a Kinesio consultation, instruction and tape application for only $35.  This includes a roll of Kinesio tape for home use.

Kid’s Corner: Kids can create a beautiful fall leaf ornament, color a picture about fall or tease their brains with a word find puzzle.

September 22 - Spinal Health Care Class today at 6:00 - 6:30 pm at our office.  Sign up at the front office and choose what you would like for dinner. 

September 24 - Dr. Powell will see patients from 8 am to 10 am today.  He will be leaving the office at 10 am to teach a neurology class in Orlando, FL.
