Dr. Shanahan is now offering acupuncture!
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese therapeutic intervention which involves the insertion of tiny needles through the skin at strategic points. Many of these points are places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue to help stimulate your body’s “natural pain killers” and help reduce pain & inflammation.
Acupuncture is great for many different conditions such as back and neck pain, sinus pressure, headaches, shoulder pain and many more!
For first visit, Dr Shanahan will do a brief exam where she will decide on an individualized treatment plan for you. Unfortunately, we cannot submit acupuncture to insurance.The initial cost for the first appointment is $70.20. After that, regular acupuncture visits are $48.60.
